Openchip, a pioneering company in the design of high-performance accelerator chips for advanced computing applications (High Performance Computing – HPC), artificial intelligence (AI), machine learning (ML), and deep learning (DL), and SUBMER, experts in immersion cooling solutions for data centers, announce a strategic collaboration to create a comprehensive roadmap for designing sustainable data center reference architectures. This roadmap will guide the development of cutting-edge, energy-efficient data centers characterized by the use of single-phase immersion cooling in order to reduce energy usage compared to traditional methods. These systems will host processors and accelerators that, co-designed with applications, will reduce energy consumption. Thus, the initiative will contribute to Europe’s technological independence and sustainability goals.
